Cause for Concern
QI am a 25-year-old male and facing the following problems: (1) I have a burning sensation of penis and testes during sex and (2) a low sperm count (3) My testes hang lower than normal and the size is quite big. Do you think that there is something seriously ill with me?
A: You may be having a condition known as hydrocele. In this condition, there’s an accumulation of fluid in the tunica vaginalis, the most internal of membranes containing a testicle. The accumulation can be a marker of physical trauma, infection or tumour although the cause is generally unknown, but this may be causing your low sperm count. The burning sensation may be because of some infection in your urogenital system. You may be having either a prostatitis (infection/inflammation of the prostate gland) or (urethritis infection).
QI am a 28-year-old man. I got married two months back. Initially, my wife and I didn’t have sex because of the pain she felt. But now, we have sex almost every day, although lately, I do not feel anything like orgasm after intercourse; I don’t even feel proper tightness in her vagina. I ejaculate as a result of the movement, not by feelings. What must be the reason for this? Is it due to excess fluid she secretes?
A: It’d be difficult for me to come to a definitive conclusion without knowing all the facts. However, since you’ve been married only for two months and your wife has not yet had a vaginal delivery, the chances of her vagina being lax is rare. Most likely, she may be lubricating profusely and this may make the coital thrusting slippery, without giving you a tight grip. You might want to try rear-entry posture for better grip. Alternatively, she can take an antihistamine tablet, which might reduce the vaginal secretions.
