TS ONLY STATE TO IMPLEMENT SO MANY WELFARE SCHEMES: KTR
IT minister and Sircilla MLA K.T. Rama Rao claimed that Telangana was the only state in the country which was implementing various welfare schemes for all sections of society.
Addressing the beneficiaries during the distribution of new ration cards at the conference hall of the collectorate complex in Rajanna Sircilla district on Monday, Rama Rao said the state government was striving hard for the welfare of various sections of people, and as part of the programme, it was distributing the new ration cards to all eligible beneficiaries across the state. In Rajanna Sircilla district, about 2,777 beneficiaries were identified and ration cards would be distributed among all, he assured.
Later, the minister inaugurated the CT scan centre established at a cost of `2.15 crore here in the government main hospital in Sircilla town.
Speaking on the occasion, Rao said several modern and advanced facilities were made available in the government main hospital with an aim to provide medical services transparently to the people of the district.
Earlier people used to go to distant places to avail advanced medical facilities and services. But now with the establishment of such facilities along with the CT scan centre in the government hospital, it would be easy for them to get corporate level medical services within their reach in the district, he said.
Vemulawada MLA Chennamneni Ramesh Babu, NAFSCOB chairman Konduri Revinder Rao, ZP chairperson Nyalakonda Aruna, district collector D. Krishna Bhaskar, additional collector B. Satya Prasad, ZP vice chairman Siddam Venu, municipal chairpersons Kala, Madhavi and Jithendar Reddy were among those who were present.
