Take Diversion is a metaphor for life

Travel stories, if well made, are always a hot favourite of the audiences. Joining the long list is Take Diversion (TD), the story of a car journey from North Chennai’s Royapuram to Pondicherry. Senthil Sivaani of Kargil fame directs TD. Talking about the movie, Senthil says, “The central character — a woman — is hassled over certain issues in life. How she solves her problems through her experiences in the day-long journey forms the crux of the plot. Here, the title is used as a metaphor. In life, many things divert us from reaching our goals. ” Sivakumar from Koothu-PPattarai and Padine Kumar play the lead pair. Gayathri will be seen as the second female lead. Karthik was all praise for Senthil after a sneak peek of the film.
