- DC CORRESPONDENT

A man driving a car was burnt to death on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Shamshabad after his vehicle caught fire suddenly. According to the police, the car had entered the ORR from the ramp near Nanakramguda.

By the time the police from the RGIA police station reached the spot where the car was burning, and a fire tender rushed to the spot to put out the blaze, it was too late to save the man. The body of the man was charred and extricated from the burnt vehicle and shifted to a morgue.

There were no immediate clues as to the identity of the person who died in the blaze, the police said, adding that it was possible that the fire in the automobile began as a result of a short circuit.
