The golfers are ready with their clubs, and are swinging well. All is set for the first edition of the Sreenidhi University Telangana Premier Golf League (TPGL) that will tee off at the Hyderabad Golf Association (HGA) course near Golconda fort here on Sunday.

The tournament being organised on the lines of prominent international golf tourneys by the HGA, has 16 teams and 200 golfers taking part.

The professionally designed tournament will be played over eight rounds spread over four weeks, in two different formats — singles and doubles.
