Big B trolled for paan masala ad
MANY ACTORS WHO’VE ENDORSED TOBACCO AND RELATED PRODUCTS
Many Bollywood stars can be seen advertising alcohol, tobacco and paan masala. When there is an outcry on these advertisements, these stars keep silent. Actress Priyanka Chopra had also once endorsed a paan masala, Rajnigandha Silver Pearls, saying that she’d endorse any brand and that if people didn’t want to buy the product, it was their choice.
Besides the above actors, Shah Rukh Khan has endorsed Paan Vilas paan masala brand, Govinda has endorsed Paan E Shahi, Akshay Kumar, Baba Elaichi, Sunny Leone, Shilajit Paan Masala and Saif Ali Khan, Paan Bahar. Incidentally, the Delhi government’s Health Department has issued a show cause notice to most of these actors as well as Hollywood star Pierce Brosnan for appearing in a surrogate advertisement of the paan masala brand.
