BJP failed to create jobs: KTR

- DC CORRESPONDENT

Calling the BJP ‘Bharatiya Jumla Party’ for allegedly making false statements and promises, TRS working president and minister K.T. Rama Rao said BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar was holding protests only to maintain his political relevance.

A day before Sanjay’s day-long ‘Nirudyogula Deeksha’ on Monday, Rama Rao wrote an open letter in which he accused the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre failures to generate jobs.

“The BJP had promised the nation that they would generate 2 crore jobs to youth every year and Bandi Sanjay must issue a White Paper on how many jobs have been provided, he said.” Alleging that the Centre had deliberately cancelled the Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR) project for Hyderabad, Rama Rao asked Sanjay to give details of jobs given to Telangana youth in Central departments. “The BJP government must take responsibility for jobs lost after implementing demonetisation and GST Bills. Hundreds of jobs in the IT industry have been lost as the Centre has not given it importance,” Rama Rao wrote. Demanding that Sanjay ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi on how the Centre failed to fill 15 lakh vacancies in its offices, he said that the state government has promised to provide 1 lakh jobs but had actually provided 1.33 lakh jobs. He also explained the initiatives to bring industry into the state which would give fillip to employment. “The NDA government has now become a No Data Available government on jobs. Instead of misleading the people, Sanjay should fight his own party and get more jobs to Telangana youth in Central government departments,” he demanded.
