Five star shows by Sai, Vritti, Nithya, Sachin

Bikkina Sai Nihar, Vritti Agarwal, Sri Nithya Sagi and Sachin Satvik emerged top swimmers with five golds each at the 7th Telangana State SubJunior & Junior Inter District Swimming Championship held at the Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad.

Sai Nihar won the 200m Freestyle, 800m Freestyle, 200m Backstroke, 200m Individual Medley and 400m Individual Medley in the Boys Group-1 category while Vritti took the 200m Freestyle, 400m Freestyle, 800m Freestyle, 1500m Freestyle and

200m Butterfly titles in the Girls

Group-1 section.

Nithya Sagi won the 400m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke,

100m Backstroke, 200m Backstroke and 400m Individual Medley races in the Girls

Group-2 while Sachin Satvik emerged winner in the 200m Freestyle, 400m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, 100m Backstroke and 200m Individual Medley events in the Boys Group-3.

Shivani Karra, D. Varshith and Addanki Mokshitha were the next best on show with four golds each.

Shivani dominated Girls

Group-3 with titles in the 50m Backstroke, 50m Butterfly, 100m Butterfly and 200m Individual Medley. Varshith’s golds came from the 200m Breaststroke,

200m Butterfly, 200m Individual Medley and 400m Individual Medley in the Boys Group-2 section while Mokshitha won the

50m Butterfly, 100m Butterfly,

200m Butterfly and 200m Individual Medley in the Girls

Group-2.

Shashwath Allada, G. Sarayu Reddy, M. Rithvika, Edakkolathur Stash Joseph, G. Saharsha and Annika Deborah Paripooran won three golds each.
