Class X results to be out today

- BANSARI TRIVEDI J. | DC HYDERABAD, JUNE 29

Class X (SSC) students in the city said they were feeling anxious and stressed a day before their results were to be declared. They said they had earlier felt confident of their results, but after seeing the Intermediate results, they were scared that they might not be able to pass the exams. Most of the Class X students who spoke to this correspondent had earlier mentioned how they could write the exams at ease as they were able to copy.

A principal of a school said the students were happy after writing their exams but ever since the intermediate results were released on June 28, they were in a confusion whether they would pass or not.

“Definitely most of the students had a nice chance to copy during the exams and were sure about at least getting pass marks. But now they are scared as the Intermediate students too said they would pass as they copied well but failed,” said a principal of another school in the city.

A student said he and his friends were stressed as they felt that the corrections must have been strict as many Intermediate students could not clear the exam as well.

“I had written my exams very well. I was allowed to copy every single day. I was very confident of clearing the exams. But now I am a bit tense as most of the students I know who studied in Intermediate first and second years were also confident of passing the exam but failed,” said a Class X student.

According to officials from the school education department, they are expecting much better results when compared to the last three years. Students can review their results on www.bse.telangana.gov.in and on www.bseresults.telangana.gov.in. The results will be released on June 30.

Some students said all the questions were from the syllabus and from the model questions papers released by the government.

With 70 per cent syllabus and 50 per cent choice, most of the students felt the exam was easy. Students also added that they were worried about other exams like Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as they could not focus well because of online and offline classes.

The total number of candidates who appeared for SSC public examinations were 5,09,275 according to the officials.
