TRS MLC KAUSHIK REDDY SLAMS ETALA FOR CRITICISING KCR

TRS MLC Padi Kaushik Reddy on Wednesday lashed out at BJP MLA Etala Rajendar for his criticism of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao after his suspension from the Legislative Assembly.

Speaking to media at the TRS Legislature Party (TRSLP) office on the Legislative Assembly premises here, Kaushik Reddy charged Rajendar of indulging in ‘murder politics’ in Huzurabad Assembly constituency.

“Etala is trying to compare himself with our party president and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. KCR has an illustrious political career of nearly four decades. He held all the political positions right from MLA to MP and Union minister to CM. KCR never indulged in murder politics. But Etala's political career is about murder politics in Huzurabad constituency. Is Etala not responsible for the murder of Narsingapur MPTC Balaraju? Is it not true that locals of Narsingapur attacked Etala with chappals to vent ire? Is it not true that Etala masterminded attack on Praveen Yadav who played a major role in Telangana statehood agitation?” asked Kaushik Reddy.

He alleged that Rajendar conspired against Chandrashekar Rao who gave him political life. “KCR made him MLA several times and also minister twice in his Cabinet. But Etala tried to backstab KCR for his selfish political interests,” Reddy added.

He said Rajendar is trying to gain public sympathy out of his suspension from Legislative Assembly. “The rules and procedures in Legislative Assembly remain the same. They were same when Etala was in TRS and remain the same when he is now in BJP. They don't change with people changing parties. Action was taken on Etala as per rules and procedures in the House,” Kaushik Reddy further said.
