BRS DEFAMING GOVERNOR’S OFFICE: BANDI
BJP state president and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Monday denounced the BRS government and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for filing a lunch motion in the High Court against Governor Dr Tamilsai Soundararajan while claiming that it was done with the intention of defaming the Governor’s office.
“The government made a foolish and ridiculous decision by refusing to invite the Governor to speak at the State Assembly’s Budget session, and it is attempting to willfully damage the Governor’s reputation by bringing litigation,” the BJP leader remarked.
Sanjay used the instance of a sarpanch couple who attempted suicide at the Nizamabad Collectorate to demonstrate that the government was to blame for failing to provide funds for the local bodies.
“At least 1.91 lakh jobs in various government departments are vacant. Why did the government not issue notifications to recruit unemployed youth? The government should also make public how many 2BHK houses were allotted to the people, and how many farmers benefited from the farm loan waiver scheme,” he asked.
Regarding the Bayyaram Steel Plant controversy, Sanjay claimed that the CM had been spreading lies and misinformation about the Bjp-led Central government for the past eight years, despite the fact that Centre has made it clear that the Telangana government did not submit its detailed project report (DPR) to the Centre.
“The Chief Minister must tender an apology for spreading falsehood. If he fails to do so, people will teach a befitting lesson to the BRS party in the coming elections,” Sanjay said.
