The holidays are upon us and your current cover story is all I needed to plan my winter vacay. It was a perfect mix of hot and cold holidays that I could choose from, and although you missed a few obvious trip possibilities, it was still a delight to read of unique places like Lambasingi and a local’s guide to trekking in Dharamsala. It was Jairaj Singh’s heartfelt experience of the Uttarakhand hills that made me want nothing more than walking in its forests, “listening to the songs of the birds, reading books in the sun, taking deep breaths of the fresh winds and drinking water from ancient springs.”
