A Seaside Rendezvous
Mumbai stood host to a carnival on the sea as part of Millionaireasia India Regatta where yachts, fashion, and gourmet food all added up to a heady concoction.
The crème de la crème of Mumbai was treated to a fun weekend that included all the elements of an unforgettable indulgence. Millionaireasia India, India’s leading luxury magazine, hosted a two-day extravaganza—Millionaireasia Regatta that saw the movers and shakers of the maximum city regale in the seaside revelry. Day one witnessed a stellar fashion show by Deme by Gabriella on Neverland, a cruise liner by Queensline even as the day ended with a gala dinner onboard the schooner Sea Yah. Day two saw 13 boats including that of the partners—Swiss Airlines, Visit California, and Simon Shopping participate in a thrilling Regatta. Commenting on the occasion, Ms. Parineeta Sethi, Director- Burda Media India said, “Luxurious, competitive, exciting, and fun are only a few of the words that come to mind at the mere mention of Regatta. This year, we have also associated with Festival of Hope, an organisation that celebrates the courage of cancer survivors, as a way to give back to society. We look forward to hosting many such bespoke events.” The memorable event was powered by Swiss International Airlines, Visit California, Simon Shopping Destinations, Queensline, Lifestyle Asia, Marine Solutions, GOODTIMES, Satliva and Jean Claude Biguine India. The magazine also collaborated with ‘Festival of Hope’ organisation to create awareness for all types of cancer via various initiatives.
