It was only in 2007 that one intrepid duo managed to get there. A path hides the approach to the glacier, with drifts of moraines, crevasses, and gigantic icefalls. GETTING THERE The nearest airport is in Dehradun. Non-stop flights ply between Delhi and Dehradun. It is recommended to take the onward journey with an experienced cabbie.
