The dangers of malware, and how they can infect a computer and collect data stored on that computer, like passwords, IDs and bank account details, is known to most people. Hence, it is almost obligatory for every internet user to install anti-malware and antivirus software on their devices, if they don’t want to distribute their personal sensitive information to hackers. The same goes for installation of firewalls on computers. These prevent the user from surfing certain traffic and blocks malicious websites, thereby protecting the user.

Cyber-attacks have become too common for anyone to ignore the risks involved therein. The steps to ensure the protection of their online privacy might take some time, money and energy, however when one calculates the dangers involved, it makes the efforts worth it.
