Pothole mess in Sahibabad

DNA (Delhi) - - DELHI -

The roads leading to the Sahibabad Industrial Area can be seen dotted with potholes reflecting poorly of the administration yet again. The evident unevenness on the roads harbours problems during transportation; especially during the rainy season as the rain water is collected in the potholes which have now occupied almost more than half of the road. Waste disposal is also severely problematic since the roads are heavily littered. This, coupled with stagnating potholes adds to the already soaring pollution rates in the region. “Roads accessed by the public and the inhabitant working classes are in deplorable conditions. Besides one carriageway is full of dust which when coupled with cars and trucks plying on them provides no relief from pollution. Being on of the most established industrial hubs in NCR, it certainly calls for betterment,” said Samiksha Arora
