Three rape mi­nor at gun­point in Ghazi­abad

Ghazi­abad: A 16-year-old was al­legedly gang-raped by three men at a farm in the Mu­rad­na­gar area on Wed­nes­day evening. Ac­cord­ing to po­lice the main ac­cused has been iden­ti­fied as Jahid, Tinku and one ju­ve­nile. The po­lice said a case has been reg­is­tered in this re­gard and the girl has been sent for a med­i­cal ex­am­i­na­tion and the re­port is awaited.

“The vic­tim had gone to a nearby com­puter shop when three men of her vil­lage, rid­ing on a mo­tor­cy­cle, ab­ducted her and took her into a farm where they took turns to rape her on gun­point. The ac­cused per­sons threat­ened the girl to face dire con­se­quences if she

tells about the in­ci­dent to any­one,” said a se­nior po­lice of­fi­cer.

“Based on the com­plaint, we have reg­is­tered a case un­der IPC sec­tions 376 D (pun­ish­ment for gang rape), 34 (act done by sev­eral per­sons in fur­ther­ance to com­mon in­ten­tion) and 4/5 of the POCSO Act against three per­sons” said Lak­shen­dra Ku­mar, sta­tion house of­fi­cer, Mu­rad­na­gar po­lice sta­tion.
