Jaipur: Not taking CM Vasundhara Raje’s attack lying down, PCC chief Sachin Pilot has hit out on her ‘amateur in politics’ comment in similar deriding tone. He called Raje’s statement a reflection of BJP’s frustration on its shrinking vote bank.

“The chief minister is doing baseless talks, but she should not forget that the personal comments made against me during recent bypolls at Ajmer were responded by the public through votes,” said Sachin Pilot.

“Her recent comments made out of frustration will be again answered by the public in the upcoming assembly polls who will hand a devastating defeat to the BJP,” he added. It was a rare that Pilot was targeted by Raje during Gaurav Yatra in Jaitaran town of Pali on Wednesday. She held the Congress state chief as ‘novice’ in politics who is ‘not aware of culture and traditions of the state’. Congress is not taking any exception of the issue and has released a statement condemning the personal comments.
