In 2002, when Bent­ley launched the Con­ti­nen­tal GT, Bre­itling lent its per­sonal touch of lux­ury and per­for­mance by par­tic­i­pat­ing in the de­sign of its tech­ni­cal in­stru­ments and cre­at­ing the on­board clock. It was the first time that Bent­ley had en­trusted this task to a watch­maker. In 2003, Bent­ley re­vived its glo­ri­ous sport­ing past by mak­ing its grand come­back to the Le Mans track, with Bre­itling as the main spon­sor of Team Bent­ley. Bent­ley’s dou­ble win— with two cars in com­pe­ti­tion sweep­ing the first two places— was cel­e­brated by Bre­itling by is­su­ing a chrono­graph chris­tened ‘ Bent­ley Le Mans’. The re­sults of this strong al­liance is a com­plete line of watches and a num­ber of ex­cit­ing joint ex­ploits.
