New Delhi: A senior official of the Indian cricket board has accused Committee of Administrators (COA) chief Vinod Rai of going out of his way to save board CEO Rahul Johri from sexual assault charges. Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) acting secretary Amitabh Choudhary has written a letter making this allegation. He has also claimed that Rai’s intention in appointing a three-member committee at midnight of Thursday without taking even his colleague Diana Edulji into confidence, points towards this. Choudhary reminded Rai through his letter that “he is only first among equals”.
