Arth explores caste, religion, myth
New Delhi: With discussion on issues like Ayodhya and Sabarimala, and debates on caste system, feminism and mythology, the second day of the Arth Festival was full of hard-hitting talks, performances and workshops.
The three-day cultural event, in association with ZEE, celebrates the essence of Indic thought and philosophy. It saw discus- sions led by personalities like Smriti Irani, Raveena Tandon, Amish Tripathi, Vivek Agnihotri, Subramanian Swamy, and Arnab Goswami. It also witnessed performances by Teejan Bai, who has been honoured with the Padma Vibhushan, in which she enacted tales from the Mahabharata with musical accompaniments.
