Arth ex­plores caste, re­li­gion, myth

New Delhi: With dis­cus­sion on is­sues like Ay­o­d­hya and Sabari­mala, and de­bates on caste sys­tem, fem­i­nism and mythol­ogy, the sec­ond day of the Arth Fes­ti­val was full of hard-hit­ting talks, per­for­mances and work­shops.

The three-day cul­tural event, in as­so­ci­a­tion with ZEE, cel­e­brates the essence of Indic thought and phi­los­o­phy. It saw dis­cus- sions led by per­son­al­i­ties like Sm­riti Irani, Raveena Tandon, Amish Tri­pathi, Vivek Agnihotri, Subra­ma­nian Swamy, and Arnab Goswami. It also wit­nessed per­for­mances by Tee­jan Bai, who has been hon­oured with the Padma Vib­hushan, in which she en­acted tales from the Ma­hab­harata with mu­si­cal ac­com­pa­ni­ments.
