Ev­ery­thing Gio Ponti on view in Paris

The first French ret­ro­spec­tive ded­i­cated to Gio Ponti by the Musée des Arts Dé­co­rat­ifs, Tutto Ponti: Gio Ponti, Archi De­signer (19.10.2018– 10.2.2019), spans the en­tire course of his var­ied ca­reer: from 1921, when he grad­u­ated from the Polytech­nic in Mi­lan, to 1978, with the de­sign for the tile façade for the Shui-Hing de­part­ment stores in Sin­ga­pore.

In mas­ter­pieces: sky­scraper, be­tween, 1956-1960), a build­ings long list (like de­sign of the ab­so­lute Pirelli (the leg­endary Su­per­leg­gera chair), lamps and pub­lish­ing projects (Do­mus and many oth­ers) up to art and crafts­man­ship.
