Cuban artist Tania Bruguera (Havana, 1968) is the new guest of the Turbine Hall at the Tate Modern, which she transforms into an interactive location. A group of 21 people who live or work near the museum were asked, for example, how the Tate could adapt to the local community. Instead, other visitors can reveal an image hidden in the heat-sensitive floor. The title of the exhibition, “10,142,938” stands for the growing number of émigrées last year and the number of migrants who died since the project began.
