Need for townships
Apropos the web story "Point of no agri-returns, Part 7" (10 May, 2018). There is nothing wrong in converting large tracts of land into new townships to accommodate growing population. These
townships must be planned and green area norms should be maintained at all costs. Each house should have fruit trees, and there should be no wastage of water. If we do not develop mega townships, the number of unauthorised colonies will mushroom and pollute the environment. Smart city concept should be followed.
