Down to Earth

Not a drop to drink

-

This refers to “India’s water crisis:The clock is ticking”, published online on June 21, 2019.The World Health Organization states that an individual requires about 25 litres of water daily for meeting his/her basic hygiene and food needs. But I am not sure if a single drop of water being supplied currently is of drinking water standards. People across the length and breadth of the country need to purify the water before they can drink it.This is the real crisis for India.
