What links bats to zoonotic diseases?

Bats are the source of most zoonotic diseases, the latest being the novel coronavirus Why? The reason is their strong immune system. During a virus attack, bats produce interferonalpha, a molecule which signals other cells to boost their defence. To overcome this defence, virus starts to reproduce quickly and turns highly transmissible.
