WHICH IS THE STRONGEST AMONG MOBILES, TABLETS AND SMART WATCHES? WHY?
We are currently not selling or promoting the above products in India, so it will be not possible for us to comment on same from India prospective specifically. However, if you are looking for global trends:
* Tablets are continuing to do business in business specific verticals as due to those business specific applications like in restaurants for taking orders, in share cabs like Ola and Uber for entertainment, in education for e-learning, in medical, to schedule patient checkups, to authorize prescriptions or for transmitting medical data and records etc., and hence, the tablet market is stable and will remain so.
* Smartwatches are a new trend and rapidly catching up with lifestyle trends primarily: health monitoring, runs applications, plays digital media, like audio tracks or radio streamed to Bluetooth headphones, have touch screens which allows to access functions like calculator, thermometer and compass etc. We expect this market will grow in double digits for next few years to come and will evolve further.
HOW ARE SALES OF ULTRA-SLIM LAPTOP DOING? WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR 2020?
Ultra-slim laptops are the fastest growing sub-category within all categories of laptops, the growth is in double digits and we estimate this trend will continue. Our plans for 2020 are confidential. However, we will continue to focus on this category and will try to double our sales from last year.
HOW ARE YOU POSITIONING LIFE DIGITAL AS AN AFFORDABLE BRAND FOR THE YOUTH?
Life Digital offerings are all made, with keeping the interests and taste choices of youth in mind. These are latest technology products, trendy and stylish, are affordable, easy to use and light weight, and hence are quite popular among the youth of the country.
WHAT ARE THE PLANS TO EXPAND IN ONLINE CHANNEL SPACE?
We are quite active in the online space. Our endeavor will be to increase our sales momentum from online platforms and probably at an opportune time adds more product lines.
