Ranu Mondal, the new singing sensation in Bollywood, has spent her whole life until a few months before as a beggar, earning her bread by singing popular Hindi film songs in trains. Her ability to sing at par with celebrity singers has brought her sudden fame and money but it seems that all the attention has boosted her pride and ego, which is quite natural. Her mentors and benefactors should advice and counsel her to be comfortable about her natural appearance and not resort to gaudy make-up which will take the attention away from her singing abilities. After all, we all love and admire only her sweet and melodious voice. We don't need to see her as a beauty queen but only as a kuyil with a cool voice that can soothe all ears.
