It was widely reported that Annaatthe unit led by director Siruthai Siva will resume shooting from October 10 without Superstar Rajinikanth on the sets. The exclusive update for the fans of Superstar from DT Next is that Rajinikanth has decided to join the cast and crew next week.

A reliable source told us, “Superstar will be travelling to Hyderabad in his car from Chennai a couple of days prior to the shoot. The rest of the star cast Khushbhu, Prakash Raj, and Meena will be reaching Hyderabad soon and quarantine themselves. The technicians too would travel in a bus to Hyderabad from Chennai prior to the shoot.” Sources say that Rajini was moved by the struggles technicians and daily wagers had to undergo without work and hence decided to start working on the film.

“Technicians and production unit for Annaatthe are predominantly from Tamil Nadu. Moreover, when there was talk that Rajini wouldn’t shoot until there is a vaccination, this piece of information came as a pleasant surprise. He has once again led by example and now other stars across India will look to resume shooting. This will change the fortune of several movie production houses across the country,” the source added. The shooting of Annaatthe will happen with strict protocols, “No outsider will allowed on the sets and an automated sanitiser machine will be kept at the entrance. People attending the shoot must wear N95 masks. The shooting of the film will be completed in a single schedule and there will be no break in between,” the source revealed. Annaatthe is directed by Siruthai Siva and stars Khushbu, Nayanthara, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, and Soori in important roles. D Imman, who had previously worked with Siruthai Siva in Ajith’s Viswasam, has been roped in to compose music for the project. The makers are aiming for an April 2021 release.
