Dr CV Subbarao awarded for contribution in endodontics
CHENNAI: Dr CV Subbarao, former professor and HoD, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, TN Govt Dental College and Hospital, was awarded for his exemplary contribution to the growth and evolution in the field of endodontics in India. Subbarao is one of the leading scientists in India to study the bacteriological flora of non-vital intact unexposed anterior teeth and their antibiotic sensitivity pattern, which was published in the National Journal. He was one of the guest speakers at the 12th IFEA World Endodontic Online Congress, held on September 26. The first edition of the international conference took place in Sri Lanka in 1978 under the leadership of Dr BP Rajan with Subbarao as the Secretary. For the first time, a group of doctors held a conference on various treatments available to treat dental problems.
