SR clarifies on the controversy

CHENNAI: Southerm Railway has issued a clarification attributing the issue to users’ choice of language. In a message from SR, the zone referred to the issue and said that while registering the details under the section titled ‘profile’ in the IRCTC website, one needs to indicate the preferred language — either English or Hindi, to enable receipt of ticket related messages in the language of one’s preference.
