High Court Judge breaks down during hearing
While hearing the case, Justice N Kirubakaran broke down and said that a decision has to be taken at the earliest to safeguard the interest of government school students. He observed that such a delay should not force students organise jallikattu-like protests. He also appreciated all the political parties for standing united on the Bill. “Why don’t you understand the pain of these marginalised government school students? What is the use of giving assent to the Bill once the medical admissions get over?” he asked.
