No move to merge Pondy with Tamil Nadu, says BJP leader Ravi

BJP National Secretary CT Ravi on Friday ruled out the merger of Union Territory of Puducherry with Tamil Nadu. Talking to news persons at the BJP office here, Ravi said that the status quo will continue and there need not be any doubts for the people on the issue. The ruling Congress party is deliberately spreading “false’” information, he added. He claimed that prominent personalities from different parties here are joining the BJP and some legislators and leaders of political parties are in touch for joining the party. Strengthening BJP is the primary aim, he said the “Lotus will bloom” in Puducherry in the 2021 elections. He alleged that the Congress had failed in the containment of COVID-19 and to hide this, it is blaming BJP.
