Actor siblings steal goats to fund father’s film in Madhavaram, arrested

CHENNAI: The Madhavaram police arrested two men for stealing goat to complete a movie that their father was producing featuring them in lead roles. The accused were identified as V Niranjan Kumar (30) and his brother Lenin Kumar (32) of New Washermenpet. On Saturday, they were secured by the Madhavaram police in connection with a complaint that the duo stole goats and took them in a car. Investigation revealed that the duo’s father, Vijay Sankar, is producing a film titled Neethan Raja featuring his sons in the lead roles. While their movie was stopped midway due to lack of budget, the duo allegedly stole goats to sell them in the city to get funds to complete the movie. The duo was remanded in judicial custody.
