Affiliated to Anna University, RIT is accredited with A++ by NAAC. It offers a range of promising higher education courses, which provide holistic learning to its students.

Some of the graduate programmes offered by RIT are Bachelor of Engineering (BE) Computer Science and Engineering, BE Computer Science and Engineering (AI&ML), BE Computer and Communication Engineering, BE Electronics and Communication Engineering, BE Mechanical Engineering, B. The students are taught with key aspects in focus ranging from vocational training, global approach, an opportunity and space for innovation, upgraded research centres, and others.

For different kinds of training, RIT has signed over 350 MoUs with different organisations specifically in sectors such as data analysis, cloud computing, cyber security, and more, to ensure that students get hands-on training while studying.

Besides this, for a global approach, RIT is also collaborating with various leading international universities like Utah University, Binghamton University, and KU Leuven University.

Additionally, in a move towards global education and career development, RIT has formed a strategic partnership with Malaysia. This collaboration is an understanding that focuses on improving international job opportunities and educational experiences of the students with the institute.

Also, for technical studies, RIT has formed a dedicated group of professors. For each department, a senior professor has been appointed as the moderator. The funding has also been improved to create the necessary environment for researchers to develop intellectual property rights

Also, students for more exposure go through internships, live campus visits, and on-the-job training with more than 200 companies. Under the green college life, RIT also provides holistic life education to the students while learning.

Interestingly, the campus is well implemented in terms of energy conservation, water management, waste (segregation of biodegradable waste) management, and more. Also, RIT is a ‘gold lead certified green building’ infrastructure. Additionally, RIT organises an annual summit on Artificial Intelligence (AI) every year in the presence of renowned industrialists and experts in the field.
