Full, partial cancellation of train services this month

CHENNAI: The Southern Railway, through a press release, said that as part of maintenance works in April over various sections in Chennai Division, some trains have been fully or partially cancelled.

Fully cancelled: Train 06417 Katpadi-Jolarpettai leaving at 9.30 am, Train 06418 Jolarpettai-Katpadi leaving at 12.45 pm on April 20. Train 06736 Vellore-Arakkonam leaving at 10 am, Train 06735 Arakkonam-Vellore leaving at 2.50 pm on April 17, 24, and 26.

Partially cancelled: Train 12608 KSR Bengaluru-Dr MGR Chennai Central Lalbagh Express leaving at 6.25 am, Train 12680 Coimbatore-Dr MGR Chennai Central Intercity Express leaving at 6.20 am on April 17, 24 and 30 will be partially cancelled between Katpadi and Chennai Central. Trains will short terminate at Katpadi.

Train 12609 Chennai Central-Mysuru Express leaving at 1.35 pm will originate from Katpadi at its scheduled departure of 3.45 pm. Train 12679 Chennai Central-Coimbatore Intercity Express leaving at 2.35 pm on April 17, 24 and 30 will be partially cancelled between Central and Katpadi. Train will originate from Katpadi at its scheduled departure time of 4.15 pm. Train 12607 Chennai Central-KSR Bengaluru Lalbagh Express leaving at 3.30 pm on April 30 will be partially cancelled between Chennai Central and Katpadi. Train will originate from Katpadi at its scheduled departure time of 5.30 pm.

Train 12610 Mysuru-Chennai Central leaving at 5 am on April 30 will be partially cancelled between Katpadi and Chennai Central. The train will short terminate at Katpadi station.
