Krishna Moorthy appointed as the president and CEO of IESA
India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) has announced the appointment of K. Krishna Moorthy, an electronics industry veteran, as the president and CEO. Moorthy’s professional career spans over four decades of global experience in systems, semiconductors, and IP products in diverse domains. In his tenure as a working professional, Moorthy has mentored a few startups in IoT products and semiconductor solutions to revenue generation stage.
Virtual Forest appoints Sandeep Kejriwal as co-founder, COO & CFO
Virtual Forest, an India based company manufacturing energy-efficient consumer electronics and providing electronics manufacturing services, has appointed the former EMC India CFO Sandeep Kejriwal as co-founder, COO & CFO, to lead the overall strategy, operations, and financial management for the organisation. Alongside his CFO role at EMC’s (now DELL-EMC) Global R&D Centre in Bangalore, he had also served as regional chairperson for the NASSCOM GIC Forum. In the past, he has worked at senior leadership positions at Hewlett-Packard, EXL Service, and Goodyear India.
Sunil Banwari joins Advantest Corporation as VP
Sunil Banwari has started working with Advantest Corporation as its vice president of cloud solutions division. Banwari, based in the USA and Taiwan, was previously associated with AT&S India as its chief operating officer. He has previously worked with Intel and ON Semiconductor as well. Banwari has also been associated with Anadigics, Natel EMS, and Smiths Group plc in the past.
Addverb appoints Johnny Christian Andersen as GM
Home grown robotics startup Addverb has appointed Johnny Christian Andersen as the general manager for the Europe region. The company noted this appointment as a key intersection for putting Addverb on the global map. Andersen has previously worked with the likes of KVM International, Vorning Group, Danish Energy Systems, Weiss, Hydratech Industries, and Korber Supply Chain. He was associated with Korber before joining Addverb in July 2021.
Verizon India appoints Vijayaraman Subramanian as VP and MD
American multinational telecom conglomerate Verizon has appointed Vijayaraman Subramanian as its vice president and managing director for its Indian unit. Subramanian takes over this role from Kalyani Sekar who moved to the US to take on a global leadership role within the organisation. Vijay, who has been with Verizon India since its inception in 2001, has led multiple business teams.
Mahindra Electric appoints Suman Mishra as CEO
Mahindra Electric has appointed Suman Mishra as the chief executive of Mahindra Electric and chief executive designate of Last Mile Mobility business after current CEO and MD Mahesh Babu decided to quit in order to pursue interests outside the company. Mishra, who earlier held the position of senior VP of Business Transformation, Insight and Analytics, Automotive Sector, is a performance transformation expert with 20 years of experience in strategy and end-to-end performance transformation across sales, manufacturing, products, costs and purchasing and supply chain.
