Bengaluru : Egypt dancers per­formed mind blow­ing Ta­nura dance at the souq mar­ket at Chi­trakala Parishath. It is a unique dance form, in that Tanoura Means Skirt in English and Tanoura Dance is kind of Folk­loric dance which is very com­mon in Is­lamic coun­tries which is per­formed us­ing LED Light Skirt.

The Tanoura Dance de­vel­oped from sufi dance in Turkey & Egypt, dis­tin­guished by the use of a mul­ti­coloured skirt. This has also de­vel­oped into a per­for­mance dance by non-Su­fis, in­clud­ing dancers out­side the Is­lamic world.

The SouQ mar­ket will con­tinue till De­cem­ber 2, 2018. In the Mar­ket one can find the hand­looms from all over the coun­try.
