Dar­shan mur­der case: Thirtha­halli po­lice nab Anil D’Souza in Mum­bai

Thirtha­halli: Ac­cused Anil D’Souza who was ab­scond­ing af­ter killing a boy with a knife has been re­port­edly ar­rested by the Thirtha­halli po­lice in Mum­bai’s Vi­rar, here on Tues­day, Novem­ber 27.

Anil D’Souza had mur­dered Dar­shan, a stu­dent who was pur­su­ing his first year PUC.

The po­lice had tracked down Anil’s mo­bile SIM and ATM cards and had con­ducted a search op­er­a­tion clan­des­tinely, as re­sult of which he was de­tained.

Anil D’Souza is now brought to Thirtha­halli, said the po­lice sources.

The po­lice have ar­rested Anil’s par­ents and the other two ac­cused who ac­com­pa­nied on his bike. The bike too has been seized.

It is said that there are chances of more ar­rests in the course of in­ves­ti­ga­tion.

The po­lice sources have in­formed that more in­for­ma­tion will be known only af­ter Anil re­veals ev­ery­thing.
