Jarak­i­holi calls for MLAs meet in Ben­galuru

Ben­galuru: Two days after he was sacked by the state cab­i­net, for­mer minister Ramesh Jarak­i­holi ar­rived at the city from Ben­galuru on Sun­day night. He has called a closed door meet­ing with 25 of his sup­porter MLAs who are dis­grun­tled fol­low­ing cab­i­net ex­pan­sion. Ac­cord­ing to the sources, Ramesh Jarak­i­holi is en­gaged in a bar­gain with the BJP na­tional lead­er­ship forced eight minister posts in­clud­ing DCM post for him­self. “The BJP na­tional lead­er­ship is ready for this, but BJP state pres­i­dent BS Yed­dyu­rappa is against the cre­ation of DCM post,” said sources. “A clear pic­ture in this re­gard is ex­pected by Mon­day evening,” added a se­nior Congress leader. Meanwhile, spec­u­la­tions are rife that the dis­grun­tled leader is all set to bid adieu to the Congress. How­ever, his brother Sathish Jarak­i­holi has ruled out any such pos­si­bil­i­ties.
