Lamborghini Huracan

Living with a supercar

-

IIF THERE IS ONE THING I really love about the Huracan, it is the exhaust note. The naturally aspirated V10 (last of its kind) is music to my ears and with the aftermarket race exhaust system installed, the pops and crackles are pure mental. Apart from the race exhaust, I have added a few carbonfibre parts along with a BMC air-filter. But the most significant change is made to the engine, which is tuned to make a bonkers 650bhp, around 48bhp more than the standard Huracan. I also plan to get the Novitec N-Largo rear wing and diffuser installed as well.

Actually, I have to make a confession. There is no doubt that I am an ardent Lamborghini fan. Initially I had gone to the dealership to buy the Aventador, but things did not go as planned. Out of the blue (or at least that’s what I think, I took the Huracan for a spin. Driving it around for a while, I fell in love with the car and how easy it is to drive. The Huracan has a relatively comfortable suspension and even though it rides low, the nose-lift system works its charm to tackle large speed breakers and our pothole-riddled roads. If there is one thing I miss on the Huracan, it is a surround camera, which would make parking and driving in traffic a lot easier.

Whenever I get some time off from my busy travel schedule, I prefer to drive the Huracan around over any other car in my garage. I am also part of the CannonBall Club, which organises a number of events and drives throughout the year. The advantage being, you get to interact and meet other like-minded enthusiasts who have gasoline running in their veins.

Owning a supercar in India is fraught with challenges, thanks to our roads, but till date I have never regretted the decision to buy the Huracan. The joys of owning it and driving it have been top notch. And Lamborghini Delhi’s service support keeps pace with the expectations a Lambo owner will have of the brand. The guys there are extremely friendly and sincere in their approach. I have to say, their aftersales service has been very good. I have only got a general check-up done as of now, but I have no complaints at all. I also own a Ferrari 458 which is a mad car, but the Huracan is a different experience altogether. I would absolutely recommend the Huracan. ⌧
