Own a Jeep and want to go off-roading? Jeep Trails might be just perfect for you

JEEP TRAILS – THE OFFroad driving community for Jeep owners presents participants with an opportunity to indulge in a combination of convoy driving, off-roading and adventure activities across some picturesque landscapes and challenging terrains. Jeep Trails is a rather unique concept that integrates elements like live music and bonfires at events to facilitate community building.

Recently the Jeep brand was acknowledged as the Cult Brand Honoree, underlining the growing global presence of the Jeep community. A derivative of the global and larger ‘Jeep Badge of Honor’, Jeep Trails in India seeks to achieve engagement both within the Jeep community and the larger automotive world. Jeep India will soon announce a loyalty program for Jeep owners that will connect them to the international Jeep community much better than before.

In 2018, Jeep Trails is set to feature 6 trail drives and 2 expeditions to the East, West, North and South of the country. The very first

edition, The Jungle Trails Goa – West Trails, was held in Netravali Wildlife Reserve in Goa from January 26th- 28th, 2018. The Netravali Wildlife Reserve provided participants with a chance to see the beauty of the forest that was home to some rare wild animals. The Netravali Wildlife Reserve forms part of a continuous protected area in Karnataka and Goa that serves as the perfect habitat for a variety of flora and fauna. 23 Jeeps were a part of the convoy with 47 participants across six cities coming together for some extreme off-roading action, rock ’n’ roll music, beaches, bonfire and much more. The Jungle Trails, Goa was a roaring success with over 30 registrations received within one week of announcing the trail and quite a few Jeep owners had to be waitlisted.

The second edition called the Jeep River Trails was held in Hoshiarpur, Punjab from March 0204, 2018. 15 Jeeps came together in the land of the rivers where they experienced live music in the wilderness of Punjab. Participants were made to drive through some tough off-road terrain interspersed by a few river crossings. The city where the former Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh got his bachelors and masters degree in Economics from, played the perfect host with its laidback old-school charm to the delight of all the guests. The surrounding region and its bountiful natural beauty helped make the drive very memorable.

Details about the East and the South trails haven’t been announced yet and considering how successful the first two drives were, Jeep owners are all pumped up for the events. The Jeep Trails website – jeep witnessed over 1300 applications within three days of the website going live. It is expected that interested Jeep owners will only go up substantially once registrations for the expeditions open.

Jeep India’s complete line-up includes Compass, Wrangler and Grand Cherokee. Soon, the Renegade will join the bandwagon, giving even more people access to the iconic brand. Want to join in on all the fun? Then it’s time to go out and buy one! ⌧
