At more than `15 lakh, retro sibling of Z900 isn’t cheap
THE KAWASAKI Z900RS HAS rolled into India and has been launched at `15.3 lakh (exshowroom, India). It pays tribute to the iconic Z1 range, which was launched back in the '70s. The mechanicals are same as that of the Z900, but in a different state of tune. The inline 4-cylinder liquid-cooled 948cc engine makes 13 horses less, at 110bhp. The bike features a mix of retro and modern elements, like the ‘teardrop’ tank design, lots of chrome, LED headlamps and dual-analog instrument cluster with a multifunction LCD screen. You also get traction control and ABS as standard.
