down. During legs four and five in Kolhapur and Belgaum the weather was at its worst. Rains bashed the cars and visibility became a real issue even during day time. That didn’t seem to hamper Gill’s progress and he emerged victorious in Goa, finishing the Dakshin Dare 2018 with the fastest time of the event.
“The car just felt great. The tyres suited the conditions well, we had a perfect package and a great week” said Gill on his impressive win. Though, there was no vacation for Gill after the rally. “Now I need to go back to driving the R5 rally car in the UK. We do two days of testing and then we go to Wales Rally GB which is one of the fastest and one of the most exciting rallies of the year.” So, before Gill’s playground hopping starts again, he made sure to put up a great show for the spectators and his fans at the 2018 Dakshin Dare.L
