ROLEX WATCHES ARE NO LESS than Marvel superheroes for watch collectors. So much so that Rolex fans have christened fascinating nicknames corresponding to the dial or bezel colour of the watches. Of course these names are non official ones but have become synonymous and inseparable identities for some of the most wanted watches from Rolex.

The full green dial on the Rolex submariner has earned it the name of Hulk. The thick case design with an all-green colour profile was launched around 2010. Although Rolex has used green on its other watches before, a carpet takeover of the green superhero colour is not a common sight.

The return of the Batman was witnessed at Baselworld this year. The GMT Master was originally designed for airline pilots to use as professional tools. Regardless of that Rolex GMT Master 2 is tagged Batman by Rolex collectors for its blue and black shades that are associated with the dark knight.

A rather popular colour combination on Rolex GMT Master is the red and blue bezel that is rightfully named the Pepsi dial! There is no association between the brands but that hasn't dissuaded Rolex fans from using the nickname more often than the watch's real name. The first red-blue bezel GMT-Master was originally produced to match conic Pan Am Airline's company colours.
