The Tata Safari receives an exclusive Gold Edition, which will put most rappers to shame

And right in time for the festive season, Tata Motors has aptly launched the exclusive edition of its flagship SUV, the Tata Safari Gold.

To differentiate it from the standard Safari, Tata has given it two new colour schemes called the Black Gold and White Gold, with all the chrome bits replaced by gold. Up front, it has a gold plated logo surrounded by golden tri-arrows on the grille, with a golden swooping curve separating it from the bumper. The gold is also garnished around the headlights. The side fenders sport a #GOLD badge and you can see gold on the door handles as well as on the roof rail. On the rear, the manufacturer’s logo and ‘Safari’ lettering are in gold.

instrument cluster. The dashboard has a marble-like finish with a golden stripe at the bottom.

The Safari Gold gets additional equipment as well – ventilated seats in the first and second row, an air purifier, wireless charging and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Tata has also announced that they will bring in all of these features in the rest of the Safari range, except for the ventilated seats.

The Gold Edition of the Safari is priced at `21.89 lakh for the manual and `23.18 lakh for the automatic variants. It will go on sale alongside other premium packages like the Adventure Persona and deliveries are set to begin in the festive season.
