Ford leaving India
Ford India has announced that it is shutting down local manufacturing in India. They will wind down export manufacturing by the end of 2021 and engine manufacturing and assembly by the second quarter of 2022. As a result, its current lineup which includes the Figo, Freestyle, Aspire, EcoSport and the Endeavour will no longer be on sale once current dealer inventories are sold but Ford’s presence will be felt with the iconic Mustang and the all-electric Mustang Mach-E.

We lost a brand that offered quality products. A brand that never compromised with the safety of its customers and focused on enthusiasts as well. I will miss the Endeavour most.

It would be so good if they could bring the Ford Everest as a CBU unit. Even if it is at a higher price tag. We will miss the Ford Endeavour. The 3.2-litre was love!

My most favourite Ford is the Mustang and it’s here to stay but a bit more expensive than before.

Woah, nice! Mach E will be offered in India? We’re getting some sort of international lineup over here!

Ford didn’t update their cars sufficiently and stuck with minor facelifts. Significant changes would have given the company some freshness and life. EcoSport had many followers but they never gave it the needed update. So who’s to blame? Tata is gaining traction by revamping or updating its lineup with new variants to boost sales. What is the marketing team at Ford doing?

Gonna miss the big bad Endy!!

Shocking news for Endeavour fans

Why do American manufacturers (generally) experience this?
