THE LUGGAGE IN THE MAIN COMPARTMENT SITS UNDER TWO FLAPS WITH POUCHES

RYNOX SENT OVER THE NAVIGATOR Tail Bag 50L to us a while back, but we finally got a chance to put it to the test on our recent trip to Goa to attend the India Bike Week 2022. Its 50-litre capacity meant that it was more than enough to handle all of my luggage for the weekend and then some. The bag comes with a bunch of pockets and compartments and Rynox also gives three dry bags, one 24 litres in capacity and two 12-litres to better organise the contents of your luggage. The luggage in the main compartment sits underneath two flaps with pouches, two netted and two completely sealed, giving you more space to keep small things that you would want to access on the go without having to take everything out. The bag also comes with a muck cover to help keep mud and other gunk out of your bag when out on the road. The bag is primarily made up of 1000D Invista Cordura which makes it rather durable and resistant to abrasion, meaning it should keep your bag intact should you have a minor fall. The bag relies on a series of straps for its mounting. One set is to be mounted under your seat and on the pillion foot peg mounts with loops for the main straps. And then the other straps are looped on to the mounted straps and clip on to the bag on four points. The whole mechanism is a little finicky and doesn’t give the bag the secure mounting that you would like. Once Rynox sorts this out, this bag will make for a very solid offering for people who tour often, especially considering how much it costs. ⌧ Karan Ramgopal (@karanramgopal)
