Digital Rajasthan Conclave Discusses Emerging Trends and Technologies
Rajasthan State Council along with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), organised the 3rd edition of Digital Rajasthan Conclave in Jaipur on 29 August 2018. The programme featured sessions on emerging trends and technologies, cyber security and a panel discussion on start up investments and scaling up, parallel start up pitch town and display of startups.
Samit Sharma, CommissionerIndustries, Government of Rajasthan, shared his views about how the digital platforms enabled the Government of Rajasthan to transform financial and social sector. Through digital platforms, interface between government and citizens has become more effective. It has also enabled convenient and transparent governance. He shared, 'Digital
techniques have played an important role to make ease of doing business a realistic concept. Digital platforms have also played an important role in abolishing 'Inspector Raj System' and bringing transparency in government sectors.'
Sharing about the various achievements and future plans of IT and Communication Department, Government of Rajasthan, Ravindra Shukla, Managing Director, Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Ltd., said, 'Rajasthan is one of the leading states in the e-governance.' He said that a lot of work has been done on upcoming techniques and robotics along with implementation on the chat box which are constantly changing techniques of artificial intelligence and we are regularly working on it.
The parallel Startup Conclave provided exposure to the emerging startups about the use of digital technologies in solving real-time problems. At the startup pitch down 13 startups presented their proposals in front of the angel investors, venture capitalists and startup mentors to raise funding for their startups.
