Translation awards 2021
Translations of 22 books in various languages were selected for the Sahitya Akademi Translation Prize 2021. Translations first published in the five years prior to the year immediately preceding the year of the prize are eligible. The 22 winners are:

The translation prizes in Maithili and Rajasthani languages will be announced at a later date, said the Sahitya Akademi press note of June 24 announcing the prizes.
